Alice Faye Myers
February 7, 1944 - January 3, 2020
Alice Faye Myers, 75, of Newcomerstown passed away Friday, January 3, 2020 at Lafayette Pointe Nursing and Rehab Center with her family by her side after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born February 7, 1944 in Peoli to the late Clarence and Edith (Chambers) Jones. She was a 1962 Cambridge High School graduate. Alice enjoyed her 20 year employment with Sears, New Towne Mall in New Philadelphia. She was a member of North Salem Community Church and she was an avid quilter. She was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memoris. On June 29, 1962, Alice married Stephen Myers who survives. She is also survived by her two daughters, Elaine Sue (Gary) Vorwerk of Circleville and Karen Lynn (Matthew) Friend of Plain City; her four grandchildren, Nicholas and Holly Vorwerk and Jacob and Lauren Friend; two brothers, George Jones of Kimbolton and Tim Jones of Newcomerstown; two sisters, Mary Ann Rose and Susie Shalosky. Her family will have a memorial service at a later date and she will be interred at North Salem Community Cemetery.
