Betty M. Zinkon, 91, of Coshocton, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her family after a long battle with COPD. Betty was born March 19, 1930 in Eckhart, MD to the late Francis and Mary L. (Troutman) Snyder. She graduated from Frostberg High School in Maryland. Betty retired and had worked 30 plus years at Kurz-Kasch in Newcomerstown. On August 10, 1957, she married Eugene Zinkon who passed away on September 24, 2013. Betty loved traveling with her husband. Their favorite place was Saint Simons Island where they stayed many winters. She also liked playing bingo and going to the family gatherings. She is survived by her niece, Jackie (Larry) Domer of Coshocton; her nephew, Jamie (Becky) Wilden of Newark; a special cousin, Rose Mary Snyder of Maryland; great-nieces, Leslie, Amy, Jamie Brianne, and Janice Taylor; great-nephew, Mathew Wilden; and beloved dog, Katy Sue. Services will be on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 1:30 pm at Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown with Pastor Chris Cutshall officiating. Friends and family may call from 12:30 to 1:30 prior to the funeral. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
