Larry Jack Miller Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Larry Jack Miller, 78, of Newcomerstown, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at his home. He was born March 11, 1942 in Coshocton County to the late Charles and Mary Ellen (Moore) Miller. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, serving from 1960 to 1964. He retired from Simonds Industries after 41 years. He was a member of the Newcomerstown Churches of Christ in Christian Union. He was an Elder of the church, a Sunday School teacher, taught Bible Study, was a Lay Minister and sang in the choir. He married Rita (Tish) Miller on July 29, 1970, who survives. He is also survived by two sons, Jason and Jeremy Miller, both of Newcomerstown; a grandson, Kaden Miller; his sister, Rosemary (Larry) Peoples of Newcomerstown; two sisters-in-law, Carla Morales of Navarre and Dian (Bill) Wise of Newcomerstown; one brother-in-law, Steve (Emily) Tish of Alabama. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Services will be held Monday, February 22, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Newcomerstown Churches of Christ in Christian Union with Rev. Jim Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Everal's Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, two hours prior to the service from 11 to 1 at the church. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Newcomerstown Veterans Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to Churches of Christ in Christian Union 560 W.
