Shirley Ann Rose, 97, went to be with the Lord on February 18, 2022, in Cambridge, OH. Shirley was born on October 3, 1924 in Cambridge to the late Francis and Audrey Goodwill. Shirley was a member and volunteer of Kimbolton UMC, Red Hat Divas, Honey Bees Quilt Club, Guernsey County Senior Center Quilters, Homemakers Club, Sweet Adelines singing group. She enjoyed attending Red Carpet Bingo, and she was an amazing quilter and crocheter and loved giving away her homemade hot pads. Shirley is survived by her children, Elaine (Jim Maxon) Rose, Jean Rose; grandchildren, Lisa (Jeff) Stein, Lori Shaw, Leslie Rose, Jennifer Rose, Michael Rose; great-grandchildren, Marcus and Andrew Shaw, Thomas and Zach Manning, Megan and Molly Stein; great-great-grandchildren Kadence Manning and Layla Shaw; her siblings, Elmer Lee Goodwill and Joanne Smith. Shirley is preceded in death by her son, Jerry Rose, a granddaughter, Emily Stein, and her siblings, Wanda Cooper, Ellen Pollock, Beverly Lawson, and Jesse, Raymond, Jim, and Chuck Goodwill. Private services will be held by the family. Memorial donations can be made in Shirley's name to Astoria Place of Cambridge (memo: activities), 8420 Georgetown Rd. Cambridge, OH 43725.
