Virginia J. Heston

Virginia J. Heston, 77, of Newcomerstown, passed away on May 17, 2022, at Union Hospital, Dover. She was born March 3, 1945 in Newcomerstown to the late Edward B. and Mary H. (Amore) Grewell. Virginia was a homemaker and also worked in home healthcare for over 50 years. She was a member of Word of Life Ministries. She loved her dogs, embroidering, and cooking for her family. She put a smile on everyone's face. She loved everyone and her grandkids were her life. She was married to Robert Eugene Rothenstein who passed away on December 10, 2003. She then married Raymond Heston who passed away on October 21, 2017. Virginia is survived by her children, Vicki North (Tommy Dawson) of Coshocton, Robert "Cody" Rothenstein (Shannon) of Newcomerstown; grandchildren, Alexandrea and Ethan North, Carlee Dawson, Robert Dirk Rothenstein, Alissa, Kylee and Ethan Casteel; step-daughter, Sue Slasor; step-grandchild, Raylin (Joe) Forshey; step-great-grandchildren, Carter and Randall; siblings, Rosalie Maloy of Newcomerstown, Jean Taylor (Clare) of West Lafayette, Edward E. Grewell of Newcomerstown, Robert (Teresa) Grewell of Coshocton, Charlotte Irene Haney (Randy) of Wainwright, Roger Glen Grewell of West Lafayette, and Mary Garbrandt (Michael) of Newcomerstown. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Grewell Brill; and brother, Richard W. Maple. Services for will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 2 PM at Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown with Pastor Carl Cutlip officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12 to 2 prior to the service.
