William H. Barker Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

William H. Barker, 71, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at Amberwood Manor. William was born October 26, 1944 in Dingy, WV in Braxton Co, the son of the late Warder and Georgia (White) Barker. He served in the U.S. Army from 1963-1969 where he served in Vietnam and Korea. William moved to Lorain in 1969 where he gained employment at the Ford Motor Company and retired in 1988. He is survived by two sons, William Joseph (Beth) Barker of York, SC, and Richard Carson (Traci) Barker of Port Washington; two granddaughters, Nicole Marie (Sean) Deidrick and Terah Elizabeth Barker; two step-grandsons, Kyle (Sadie) Gibson and Chase Gibson; two great-grandchildren, Caden Joseph Barker and Marcus Kyle Gibson; four brothers, Herbert (JoAnn) Barker of Pleasant City, Danny Kay Barker of Somerset, WV, Jerry H. Barker of MI, and Holten D. Ball of WV. He was preceded in death by six brothers, Jamie E. Barker, Robert E. Barker, Lee R. Barker, Carl E. Barker, Jackie R. Barker, and Warder Jr. "Delford" Barker; and a great-granddaughter, Kadence Marie Barker. Services will be Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown with Pastor Tom Klaserner officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Port Washington. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
