Bertha Butcher

Bertha Elizabeth Butcher, age 93, died June 25, 2007, in Newtown, PA. Bertha was born to John and Georgia Glazer in Dover, OH. She was a graduate of Port Washington High School and Coshocton Business School. She was a member of the Newcomerstown Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her children Glen (Joyce) Murphy of Newcomerstown, Bruce (Sandi) Murphy of Wilmington, NC and Carol (Michael) Ursino of Newtown, PA; grandchildren, Holly (Barry) Walker, Stacie (Doug) White, Stephanie Murphy, Robin Murphy, Jamey Rodenbaugh, Brett Murphy, Nicholas Petit and Melena Petit; great-grandchildren, Christina Walker, Jeffrey Walker, Sara Walker and Murphy White. She was preceded in death by her husbands Lee Murphy and Elmer Butcher; daughter, Kay Butcher; brothers, Harold Glazer, Norman Glazer and Russell Glazer. Services will be held at Addy Funeral Home on Saturday, June 30, 2007, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ronald Gene Whyde officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery at Port Washington, O. Visitation will be at Addy Funeral Home on Saturday, June 30, 2007, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
