Betty Eileen Haver, 78, died on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 in Beacon Point Rehabilitation Center in Uhrichsville. She was a lifelong resident of Newcomerstown. She was born February 23, 1929, in Coshocton Co. to the late Jesse and Nellie (Buker) Ogle and was a 1947 graduate of Newcomerstown High School. She was employed as a meat rapper for A & P, Tilton's Custom Meat and Bakers A.G. of Newcomestown, also she worked at Kurtz Kasch, Inc. She was a member of Senior Citizens Center of Newcomerstown, American Legion Auxillary, Women of the Moose, and former Cub Scout Leader. She loved her trips to Las Vegas and playing cards with friends. Surviving are one son, Ron Haver of Newcomerstown; one daughter, Sue Simmons and husband Randy of Newcomerstown; two granddaughters, Christine Haver and Stacie Simmons; one grandson, Thomas Haver; and a close friend Collene Peterson. Graveside service will be held Monday, August 6, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at West Lawn Cemetery, Newcomerstown with Derek Hickman officiating.
