Carl Berger

Carl S. Berger, age 72, of Newcomerstown, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005, at his residence. Born April 13, 1933, in Kimbolton,O., to the late Charles and Anna (McIntire)Berger. He was a timber cutter for AB&E Lumber of Newcomerstown. He was a social member of American Legion-Thomas C. Montgomery 431. In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by two daughters, Wanda Ellen Berger and Sandra Ann Berger; one grandson, Christopher Jewell; and one brother. Carl is survived by his wife, Shirley M. (Meek) Berger, whom he married February 28, 1952; one son, Gergory S. Berger and wife Pamela of Thomasville, NC; two daughters, Teresa Garlando and husband Thomas of Massillon, Deborah Jewell and husband David of Canton; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Charlene Moore and husband Herb of Newcomerstown; one brother, Loren Berger and wife Charmaine of Newcomerstown.
