Carol (Henry) Davis, 58 was born April 30, 1949, and was called home to be with her Lord and her beloved Davy (Harold) Davis whom she married July 14, 1989.Carol was the oldest daughter of the late Ray Henry and Alice Henry of Port Washington. Carol was the loving mother of Shelly Wheeler , Chad (Jodie) Peeper, and Bart (Kendra) Peeper all of Port Washington area. Carol lived her entire life in Tuscarawas County, she worked at Marlite for 14 years and shortly after the death of her beloved Davy on July 13, 2002 she opened ?Annie?s Place? in Port Washington where she developed her secret recipe for her famous pancakes. Carol was a active life long member of the Peoli Methodist charge where she attended church at Peoli and Birmingham. She lived her life in the beautiful rolling hills of County Road 10 , and was one of the last graduates of the great Port Washington Purple Riders where she made many life long friends. Besides cooking and baking , one of Carol?s greatest joys was taking care of her black bear, Samson, whom she had for 9 great years. Carol also leaves behind nine precious grandchildren, Amber, Shawn, Chris, Beaver, Emily, Jacob, Hoyt, Derek and Mackenzie. Carol was the first of seven children of Ray and Alice Henry, and leaves her very much loved siblings, Cherie Hall, Michael Henry, Benjamin Henry, Cindy Stocker, Valerie Barron and Mary Bell. Carol loved to boost about the size of her family while working in her restaurant or talking to Doctors and Nurses. ? We?re 50 strong and one on the way? Life does go on and we are 50 strong and one on the way and we love you and will miss you Annie and we know you will be waiting for all of us at Heavens Gates. Visiting hours will be Thursday November 15, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Addy Funeral Home. Services will be on Friday November 16, 2007 at 1 PM at the Peoli Church with Pastor Steven DeLong officiating, burial will be at the Peoli Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Tuscarwas County or to the Birmingham United Methodist Church A meal will follow the services at West Union United Methodist Church in Gilmore.
