Charlie E. Woodring, 67, of 28069 Township Road 281, Newcomerstown (Bakersville) died Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at his residence surrounded by Family following a 10-month illness. He was born Feb. 2, 1938, in Boone, N.C., to the late Luvine (Trivett) Woodring and Thomas Woodring. Charlie served in the Army from Nov. 25,1957 to Nov. 23, 1960. He was a Lifetime truck driver for 44 years, owner/operator of C&E Logging, a member of Salam Evancreek Lutheran Church of Stone Creek, and a member of the Eagles Lodge of Coshocton. On Aug. 2, 1960, he married Delores (Conner) Woodring. Survivors include one son. Eddie (Debbie) Woodring of Stone Creek; one daughter, Regina (George) Lahna of Newcomerstown; two stepdaughters, Patty (Gerald) Dennis of West Virginia and Vicki Thomas of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Richard, Garth and Derek Lahna and Eddie and Madison Woodring; two stepgrandchildren, Paul and Marc Thomas; and three brothers. Paul Woodring of Newcomerstown, Garnie (Ruth) Woodring of Bakersville, and Donley Woodring and companion Pam of Baltic. He was preceded in death by one brother, Grady Woodring; and three sisters, Virginia Dunnivan, Eula Woodring and Betty Woodring.
