Clyde Johnson Jr

Clyde Johnson Jr. 75, of West Lafayette passed away peacefully at Cleveland Clinic Hospital on Sunday November 3rd. 

Clyde was born September 7, 1949 in Cambridge to the late Clyde and Wilma (Dawson) Johnson. He was a Vietnam veteran who served honorably in the United States Army. He retired from Jones Metal after over 30 years. Clyde loved to hunt, fish, and camp. He loved spending his time with his family. 

He is survived by his loving wife Sandra (Hackenbracht) Johnson; step-daughter Krystle (Jonathan) Jacobs; his grandchildren Brooklynn, Colton, and Adalynn ; his siblings Linda (Bill) Schie, Ronnie (Linda) Johnson, Betty (Lanny) Bethel, Patricia Schreck, Gary Johnson, Andy Johnson; his nieces and nephews Christie, Jennifer, Amanda, Nicole, Kim, Carson, Bill; and Great Nieces and Nephews. 

Along with his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by his brothers William Johnson and Johnny Johnson; his nephews Steven Johnson and Shawn Schreck; and his first wife Wilma V. Johnson.

Visitation for Clyde will be held at Addy Funeral Home Thursday, November 7th from 5-7 pm. Services will be held on Friday, November 8th at 11 AM with pastor Dan Eggan officiating. Burial will follow at Union Hill Cemetery in Sugarcreek.
