Corle Hagan

Corle Ruth Hagan, 89, of 1100 E. State Rd., Newcomerstown, O., died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008, in Riverside Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center at Newcomerstown, O. She was born March 25, 1918, at Newcomerstown, O., a daughter of the late Anna (Weaver) McAllister and Charles W. McAllister. She was a 1936 graduate of Newcomerstown High School. She worked at Sterling Faucet Co., worked at Heller Brothers during World War II and retired in 1980 from Kurz Kasch. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Newcomerstown, member of the Alma Noble Circle and Tabitha Club and charter member of Newcomerstown Alumni Assn. She enjoyed taking care of her home garden, flowers and lawn. She loved spending time with her family. On Oct. 12, 1940, she married Charles Robert ?Bob? Hagan, who died Sept. 28, 1989. Surviving are one daughter, Ardath Nigro and husband Anthony F. of Newcomerstown; one son, James R. Hagan of Newcomerstown; six grandchildren, Tony (Melanie) Nigro, Ryan (Lynn) Nigro, Nicole (Ryan) Styer, Angie (John) Love, Denise (Ryan) Kuharich and Jimmie Hagan; 13 great-grandchildren, Anthony Thomas Nigro, Olivia, Dominic and Sophia Nigro, Anna, Evan and Carly Styer, Alec, Matthew, Zach and Zane Love, Mia and Colin Kuharich; one brother, Ronald L. McAllister of Centerville; one sister, Mary Carruthers of Berea; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lores ?Bill? McAllister; a daughter-in-law, Candace K. Hagan; two sisters-in-law, Grace McAllister and Nancy McAllister; one brother-in-law, Paul Carruthers. Services will be held at Addy Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, beginning at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tom Barber officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery at Newcomerstown, O. Visitation will be at Addy Funeral Home on Tuesday (today), Feb. 26, 2008, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
