Danny Froelich

Danny L. Froelich, 70, of 268 Walnut St., Newcomerstown, O., died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, in his residence at Newcomerstown, O. He was born June 26, 1938, at Coshocton, O., a son of the late Ruth ?Pat? Patterson Medley and Dan H. Froelich. He was a 1956 graduate of Newcomerstown High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from 1956 until 1960. He had been employed by GE of Newcomerstown, Mintex of Parral and most recently at Eureka-Orme Hardware of Newcomerstown. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Newcomerstown. Surviving are his wife, Florence A. (Bash) Froelich, whom he married Dec. 8, 1963; one son, Dan Froelich of Mesa, Ariz.; one daughter, Deana Froelich of Columbus, O.; two grand-puppies, Bono and Evie; one brother, Dave Medley and wife Janet of Newcomerstown; one sister, Sue Baker and husband Terry of Newark; one stepsister, Anita Williams and husband Art of Long Beach, Calif. He was raised by his late grandparents, Dan and Beulah Patterson, who preceded him in death. Services will be held at Addy Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, beginning at 11 a.m. with Rev. Donald Silverthorne officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery at Newcomerstown, O. Visitation is in Addy Funeral Home on Friday (today), Aug. 8, 2008, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Military services will be conducted by the Newcomerstown Veterans Honor Guard.
