Darlene J. Adams

Darlene June Adams, 69, of Cambridge, OH, passed away on March 23, 2025 at Beckett House Healthcare & Rehabilitation in New Concord.

Darlene was born May 20, 1955 in Clintwood, VA to the late Bernice Willoughby and Frank Ogelvie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Adams, stepfather Gordon Willoughby, and sisters Linda Phillips, Martha Mullins-Inman, Delilah Clawson, Bobbie Namoski, and Frances White.

Darlene was an avid reader and held an associate’s degree from Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College.

She is survived by three children, Roger Armstrong of Bellaire, OH, Rex Armstrong of Cambridge, OH, and David (Amanda) Adams of Harts, WV. She was the loving grandmother of Ryan and Nathaniel Adams, Coulton, Olivia, and Michael Armstrong. She was the sister of Sandy Goodwin, Mollie Yeager, Maybelle Ogelvie Barnes, Wayne Willoughby, Wanda Fye, William Willoughby, Nancy Myers, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 28, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm officiated by Rev. Bracken Foster. Burial will follow in Earley's Cemetery.
