Della Everhart

Della M. Everhart,91,of 814 Mill St.,Apt. 21, Newcomerstown, died Thursday, April 13, 2006, at her residence. She was born Feb. 9, 1915, in Tuscarawas County, O., to Andrew H. and Florence E. (Johnson) Getchy, who are deceased. On Nov. 7, 1931, she married Lloyd Everhart, who died April 16, 1970. She was a housewife and attended the Christ United Methodist Church of Newcomerstown. Survivors include: eight grandchildren, Betty (Robin) Lippencot of Kimbolton, Susan (John) Butler of Las Vegas, Nev., J. Lloyd (Sandra) Everhart of Newcomerstown, Rose Jean (Richard) of South Carolina, Glenn (Jody) Everhart of Newcomerstown, Tammy Jo Ryan of St. Albans, W.Va., Kathy Wallace of New York and Kitty Wallace of Wisconsin; two sisters, Alice (Robert) Doolin of Port Washington and Pauline (Raymond) Smith of Uhrichsville; 19 great grandchildren; 19 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Glenn and Dale Everhart, two granddaughters, four brothers, three sisters and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at West Lawn Cemetery in Newcomerstown with Rev. Stephen T. Sparling officiating.
