Diana Kay Arth, 78, of Newcomerstown, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 3, 2026 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Kay was born January 18, 1948 in Coshocton to the late Clinton and Reba (Gallagher) Leach. She graduated from Ridgewood High School, and her most important job was being a homemaker for her family. Kay really enjoyed birdwatching; she also had an immense love for her dog, Skyler. Kay loved to go golfing with Phil and their friends as well as taking motorcycle trips together. She really loved her regular girls’ trips with her three daughters; her family was the most important thing to her and was who she spent most of her time with.
In 1996, Kay married Phillip Arth, who passed away in 2020.
Kay is survived by her three daughters, Tisha (JP) Mozena, Tanya Calvin (Eric Hina) and Tara (Jay) Tufford; her grandchildren, Devan (Jr) Ferguson, Kayla Mozena (Julian Balajadia), Jadeyn Mozena (Chuck Hall), Hunter (Summer) Belt, and Morgan (Shelby) Klosinski; her step-grandchildren, Tonya (DJ) Sanders and Phillip Mozena; her great-grandchildren, Fynn, Tripp, Brooklynn, Juniper, Adaline, Rory, and Evie; her step-great-grandchildren, Zoë and Brooklyn Sanders.
In addition to her parents and husband, Kay was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Leach and the father of her daughters, John Calvin.
A visitation will be held at the Addy Funeral Home on Thursday April 9, 2026 from 5 to 8 p.m. Kay will be laid to rest at Fairfield Cemetery at a later date.
