Edith Longsworth

Edith P. Longsworth, 88 of 1100 East State Road died Tuesday April 5, 2005 at Riverside Manor and Rahabilitation Center. She was born April 18, 1916 in Byesville to the late Clarence M. and Fannie (White) Horton.A 1934 graduate of Byesville High School, she was a homemaker and member of the Christ United Methodist Church, Charter member of Newcomerstown Lioness Club. On July 4, 1935 she married Dale E. Longsworth who died November 4, 1998. Survivors are one son; Larry Dale Longsworth and wife Lynn of Coshocton, one daughter; Connie Sue McConnell and husband Matthew of Coshocton, one grandson Terry Longsworth, one step grandson; Matthew McConnell, two step granddaughters; Angelique Kline and Vashti Davis, four step great grandchildren, one step great-great grandchild.she was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters. Memorials may be made to Christ UMC Building fund 648 Oak St. Newcomerstown, Ohio 43832.
