Edith Riter

Edith G. Riter, 88, of Newcomerstown, O., died Monday, Nov. 26, 2007 at Riverside Manor Nursing and Rahabilitation Center at Newcomerstown, O. She was born August 22, 1919, at Glasgo, O., to the late Jacob and Laura (McGeary) Stonebrook. Edith worked at Heller Tool & Die, R.C.A. of Cambridge, and most recently, Coshocton Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Victory Assembly of God of Newcomerstown. She was involved in the Senior Citizens Center, many community events, and Relay for Life. Edith loved to quilt, exercise, bake pies, and garden. She especially loved being around her friends and family. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Mansfield and husband Geoff of Columbus, Linda Smith and husband Lucian of Coshocton; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Stonebrook and Lee Stonebrook both of Newcomerstown; two sisters, Edna Nay of Newcomerstown and Stella Thomas of Dover. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter, Harry and Henry Stonebrook; one sister, Mary Patterson. Graveside service will be held at West Lawn Cemetery at Newcomerstown on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, beginning at 11 a.m. Pastor Brent Heishman will officiate. Visitation will be in Addy Funeral Home on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society 201-A West Ohio Ave. Dover, OH 44622
