Edna Moore

Edna L. Moore, 93 of Newcomerstown, died Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Roscoe Gardens in Coshocton.

Born October 28, 1932 in Rushsylvania, Ohio, she was the daughter of Neal and Marie Shoemaker. She married Robert W. Moore and celebrated over 50 years of marriage. She was a retired employee of General Electric and was an avid line dancer, took numerous cruises and bus trips with family and friends.

She is survived by her two daughters Diane (Dick) Regula of Dover and Kathy (Brian) Guthrie of Newcomerstown, four grandchildren Jason (Jennifer) Brown of New Philadelphia, Jeremy (Lacey) Moore of Uhrichsville, Heather Shivers of Newcomerstown and Shannon Casteel of Dennison. She has 10 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Peggy Striker of Hickory North Carolina.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Rick Moore, a grandson Jeffrey Brown, a great-grandson Antonio Tucker, a brother Louis Shoemaker, two sister Etta Mae Evans, Agnes Koger, two infant siblings, and two half sisters Ethel Carpenter and Cleta Horne.

Cremation will be handled by Addy Funeral Home. No services will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
