Edward Ernest Chilensky, 67, of Newcomerstown, passed away on March 5, 2026 at his residence.
Ed was born July 29, 1958, in Steubenville to the late Edward and Alice (Spencer) Chilensky. Ed graduated from Indian Valley High School. He was a truck driver for close to 30 years, and he really loved what he did for most of that time. He was an avid outdoorsman; he loved hunting and fishing. Ed was a jovial man and had such a unique sense of humor.
He is survived by his loving wife Connie (Phillips) Chilensky; his brothers, Rob (Connie/Chen Yuan Yuan) Chilensky and Steve (Peggy) Chilensky, both of Newcomerstown; his niece, Erin Elizabeth and nephew, Stephen Edward; his great-nephew Kenneth Raymond; as well as close friends, Brett Swigert, Alan Smart, Jeff Simmons, Mikey Spangler, Joel Addington, and Larry, Craig and Travis Steffl.
Along with his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his brother Raymond Chilensky.
Ed will be laid to rest at West Lawn Cemetery with a graveside service on Tuesday March 24, 2026 at 11 a.m.
