Emerson Miskimen

Emerson D. Miskimen, 83 of 72375 Bridge Road Kimbolton, Ohio, died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta,Oh. He was born August 9, 1924 in Otsego to the late Bruce E. and Florence (Phillips) Miskimen. He served in the US Navy during WWII, and was a long distance truck driver, Heller Tool and Die, NCR, Real Estate Agent, most recently was owner/operator of US Globe. He was a member of Birds Run Baptist Church and previous member of Kimbolton Volunteer Fire Dept., previous Board of Education member for Wheeling Local Schools. On October 3, 1942 he married Lenora (Art) Miskimen who survives. Also survived by one son, John Miskimen and wife Crystal of Zolfo Springs, FL; three daughters, Joyce Guthrie and husband Larry of Kimbolton, Serena Davis of Newcomerstown, Myrtle Beall and husband Joe of Kimbolton; eight grandchildren, John Miskimen, Julie Jones, Noel Latham, Gerald Guthrie, Charity Davis, Katie Beall, Jackie Beall, and Libby Beall; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Ivan B. Miskimen of Zolfo Springs, FL. He was preceeded in death by, one son James Arthur Miskimen; two daughters, Karen Miskimen and Mary Ellen Miskimen; one brother, Everett Miskimen; one sister, Mary Sullivan.
