Glenna Rae Boyd

Glenna Rae Boyd, 77, of Massillon, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Meadow Wind Healthcare in Massillon, OH. She was born February 26, 1947 in Guernsey County to the late Bonnie Irene (Forney) Bassett McVey and Harry Glen Eckelberry, and her adoptive father, Jesse Bassett. Glenna was a 1965 Port Washington High School graduate. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was a homemaker and loved the color purple, enjoyed crossword puzzles, and loved reading. She was a people person and would talk to anyone. Glenna is survived by her two sons, Roger Boyd of West Lafayette and Robert Dean Boyd of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Zachary Robert Boyd, Jordan Dean Boyd, and Bailee Anne Boyd; great-grandchildren, Elora Lynn, Emma Virginia, and Joseph Dean Boyd. Visitation for Glenna will be on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 5 to 8 pm at Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown.
