Glenna Casterline Obituary

Glenna Lucille Casterline, 72, of 600 Plainfield Rd. #107, West Lafayette, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, in OSU Medical Center at Columbus. Born Dec. 14, 1935, at Coshocton, she was a daughter of the late Oliver and Blanche (Smith) Gross. She workedatJones-Zylon Hospital Supplies at West Lafayette for 30 years. She attended the Church of the Nazarene at Coshocton and enjoyed her grandchildren's sporting activities, reading her Bible, praying and always looking out for others. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Eldon Stanley, who died in 1957. She later married Ronald Casterline. An infant daughter, Carol Sue, is also deceased. She is survived by two sons, Robert A. Stanley and wife, Laura, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Charles R. Stanley and wife, Mary Jo, of Hohenwald, Tenn.; two daughters, Patti A. Mercer and husband, Jim, of CoshoctonandRhonda Lachette of Malvern; nine grandchildren, Aaron, Tara, Ashley, Nathan, Hannah, Charles, Christian, Caitlyn and Cassidy; three great-grandchildren,Kyren, Nathaniel and Channing; two brothers, Robert O. Gross of West Lafayette and Arthur Gross and wife, Bev, of West Lafayette; and two sisters, Carol Ortt and husband, Larry, of Newcomerstown, and Marilyn Weingarth of Newcomerstown. Services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, at noon in the Addy Funeral Home at Newcomerstown with her sons Robert and Charles officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery, Newcomerstown.Calling hours are Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.
