Grant C. Brubaker

Grant C. Brubaker, 91 of Newcomerstown, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at Union Hospital.

Grant was born May 21, 1934, in Barberton, Ohio to the late Sylvania and Mildred Brubaker. Grant was a member of Newcomerstown Christ Methodist Church. He enjoyed flying radio controlled airplanes, and was a member of the Coshocton County Cloud Climbers RC Club. He was so passionate about this hobby for so many decades he had a flying field named after him. Grant also enjoyed woodworking.

He is survived by his children David Brubaker and Bryan Brubaker; his grandchildren David, Jennifer, and John; his great-grandchildren Ryan and Brianna; and many other extended family.

In addition to his parents, Grant was preceded in death by his loving wife Carol Sue
(Menges) Brubaker; and his siblings Gerald Brubaker, Budd Brubaker, and Mary Ellen Kratzer.

Per Grant’s wishes, a cremation will take place. A graveside service at Union Hill Cemetery in Sugarcreek will be scheduled at a later date.
