Harold Rothenstein

Harold H. Rothenstein, 83, of 7024 West Court, Newcomerstown, O., died Monday, March 24, 2008, in Coshocton County Memorial Hospital at Coshocton, O. He was born June 26, 1924, at Newcomerstown, O., a son of the late Laura (Tice) Rothenstein and John Henry Rothenstein. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1949 until 1951. He was a journeyman carpenter for 25 years. He was a member of the Carpenters Union and a former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church at Newcomerstown. Surviving are his wife, Joann S. (Wellman) Rothen-stein, whom he married Jan. 9, 1972; two daughters, Denise Lynn Wiekel of Manville, N.J., and Andrea Marie Rothenstein of Newcomerstown; one son, James Mitchell Westberg of Columbiaville, Mich.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Aaron Rothenstein of Newcomerstown; two sisters, Juaneta Welch of Newcom-erstown and Kappa Edens of Newcomerstown. He was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Rothenstein, and one sister, Thelma Spence. Services will be held at Addy Funeral Home on Saturday, March 29, 2008, beginning at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jeffrey Steele-Steeber officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date at West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is at Addy Funeral Home on Saturday, March 29, 2008, from 12 to 1 p.m. Military services will be conducted by the Newcomerstown Veterans Honor Guard.
