Janet L. Glazer

Janet L. Glazer, 85, of Port Washington, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Ohio’s Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia. She was born on August 6, 1939 to the late Robert Dean Martin. She was a 1957 Port Washington High School graduate. She owned and operated her farm with her late husband, Vernon,  and also Janet’s Greenhouse. Janet enjoyed flowers and gardening, mowing grass, family time, line dancing and square dancing, playing cards, and canning. She was one of the founders of the Tuscarawas County Pork Producers. Janet is survived by her daughter, Sheryl (Gordon) Doutt of Newcomerstown; her son, Scot (Katie) Glazer of Port Washington; grandkids, Eric (Tori) Glazer, Cassie (Ryan) Putt, Christopher (Lexi) Doutt; step-grandkids, Shane Doak, Brandon Doak, and Ida Doutt; great-grandson, Hunter Putt; her sisters, Beverly (Danny) Kinsey of Port Washington, Shirley (Chuck) Muhs of New Philadelphia, Mary Lou Killam of Stone Creek; sister-in-law, Cindi Martin of New Philadelphia; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon; her parents, Bob and Ruth Martin; her brother, Bobby Martin; father and mother-in-law, Harold and Florence Glazer. Funeral services for Janet will be at 1 pm on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown with Pastor Jim Shamel officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Port Washington.
