Lova M. Kunkle

Lova Mary Kunkle, 91 of Newcomerstown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at her residence.

Lova was born November 15,1933, in Newcomerstown to the late Valentine and Mary May (Carr) Kunkle. She was crafty and enjoyed crocheting. She also loved taking care of her yard. She was an ornery woman who refused to let anyone else mow her grass.

She is survived by her niece Diana Kunkle; her nephew Dave (Ada) Kunkle; many great-nieces and nephews; many great-great nieces and nephews; and her special neighbors who were her close friends.

Along with her parents, Lova was preceded in death by her brothers Delbert and Carl Kunkle.

Per Lova’s wishes, a cremation will take place. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 11:00 am at West Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Eric Miller officiating.
