Marie Miller

Marie Miller, 86, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, in Rochester, Ind. She was born Nov. 26, 1921, at Spencer, W.Va., a daughter of the late Shibby J. (Greathouse) Hall and John W. Hall. Marie was quick to speak her mind, generous, hard working and an intelligent woman whom we all loved very much. She has gone to that place on the other side that God has prepared for her. We say ?Goodbye,? knowing we shall see her again soon. She and her husband, Roma (deceased), were farmers for many years near Cambridge. Surviving are one son, Jerry Miller of Cambridge; one daughter, Sandra Sheppard of Indiana; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mildred Nutter of Spencer, W.Va., Cloris Metz and Della Wise, both of Barberton; and one brother, John W. Hall Jr. of Weston, W.Va. She was preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis Van Leer; and one brother, Oris M. Hall. Services will be held at Addy Funeral Home on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, beginning at 1 p.m. with John W. Hall Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Clearfork Cemetery at Kimbolton, O. Visitation will be at Addy Funeral Home on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
