Mary J. Keeton, 91 of Port Washington, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026 at Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mary was born November 30, 1934, in New Antioch, Ohio to the late William Todd Bernita (Lieurance) Hughes. Mary enjoyed sewing and was an excellent seamstress. She also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and solving puzzle books. She loved to play the piano and was the church's pianist for many years. She also enjoyed singing, and was a part of a trio who sang at church.
She is survived by her children Starlene (Richard) Lewis, Teresa (John) Osborne, and Lavenna (Ron) Carey; her grandchildren Christopher (Trudy) Lewis, Katina (Angie) Osborne, Randy Keeton, Candy (Mike) Legg, Kaira Keeton, Lee Keeton, Ron (Andrea) Carey, Joe (Sabrina) Carey, and Gary (Jen) Carey; eight great-grandchildren; her sister Osa Mae Kneely; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband Earl Leonard Tolle, and her second husband Jackie Lee Keeton; her step-children Randy Keeton, Kenny (Tammy) Keeton, and Elaine Keeton; and her siblings Wilma Wood and William Todd Hughes.
A visitation will be held at Addy Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Sonny Easterday officiating. Mary will be laid to rest in New Antioch Cemetery on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 12:00 pm.
