Melba Steffen

Melba S. Steffen, 90 of 304 Cross Street Newcomerstown died Saturday June 11, 2005 at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital. She was born June 12,1914 in Elroy ,WI to the late Emil and Caroline (Prange) Steffen. A 1934 Graduate of Newcomerstown High School. She was a retired Secretary for Newcomerstown Public Schools after 41 Years, a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Newcomerstown, member of the Order of the Eastern Star #106 and Mother advisor of Rainbow for girls for many years. Surviving are two nieces, Christie Endres of Louisville, Karie Christian and husband Mark of Sunbury; one nephew, Bill Steffen and wife Amber of New Philadelphia; four great nieces, Elizabeth and Erin Endres, Psalm and Elleana Steffen; one great nephew, Izaak Steffen. Preceded in Death By; two brothers, Donald Steffen and Phillip Steffen; three sister, Carol Stefen, Yolanda Steffen Johnson, Florence Steffen Gotshell. Memorials mat be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church Building Fund.
