Michael R. Moore

Michael R. Moore, 70 of Newcomerstown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Riverside Manor.

Michael was born September 8, 1954, in Canton to the late Clarence and Helen (Gray) Moore. Michael retired from Caito Foods of Newcomerstown and was an avid Dukes of Hazzard fan. He enjoyed collecting Fast and Furious cars, and putting model cars together.

He is survived by his loving wife Mary Sue (Stowers) Moore; his children Michael (Michele) Moore Jr., Curtis (Kelly Dotson) Moore, Heather (Jeff Hoover) Little, and Melissa (David Privitt) Phillips; his grandchildren Drake Privitt, Brynn Privitt, Arianna Dotson, Bryor Dotson, and Marianne Little; and his siblings Debra Snook of Florida, Dorothy Fulton of Florida, Eva (Donald) VanZandt of Texas, LeeAnn (Blaine) Morris of Ohio, and Steve Moore of Florida.

Along with his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his siblings Linda Bryant, Robert Carr, Donald Carr, and Bill Moore.

A visitation will be held at Addy Funeral Home from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 24. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Michael Kennedy officiating. Michael will be laid to rest in People’s Community Church Cemetery
