Myles A. McCoy, 28, of West Brooklyn, Ill., formerly of West Lafayette, died Thursday, March 6, 2008, in Compton, Ill. He was born Sept. 14, 1979, in Coshocton, to Carl Wilson and Nora Kay Wilson McCoy of West Lafayette. Myles was a 1997 graduate of Ridgewood High School and a 2000 graduate of Hocking Technical College. He worked as a wildlife technician at the Richardson Wildlife Preserve. He was a member of the West Lafayette United Methodist Church, and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Myles is survived by one sister, Carla R. (James) MIller of West Lafayette; paternal grandmother, Mary L. McCoy of Wakatomika; nephew, Cohen Miller; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Arden McCoy; maternal grandmother, Virginia March; and uncle, Donald "Buck" Wilson. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 13, 2008, at the West Lafayette United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Sue Childley officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery in West Lafayette. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown.
