Nancy Mardis

Nancy L. Mardis,age 60, of West Lafayette died Wednesday, December 28,2005 in Coshocton County Memorial Hospital. She was born February 5,1945, in Dover,the daughter of the late Henry Young. Nancy was a Ridgewood High School graduate. She was a member of the Church of God of Newcomerstown and Midvale Church of God. She was a housewife. Surviving are two daughters, Julia Carr and husband Greg, Jayne Jones and husband Kevin, all of West Lafayette; two sons, John Hughes II (Janet) of Atlanta, GA, James Hughes (Tammy) of West Lafayette; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one step-grandson; one step great-granddaughter; one brother, Raymond Young and wife Phyllis of Newcomerstown; one sister, Norma Carr and husband Chuck of West Lafayette; three brothers-in-law, David Mardis of Coshocton, Terry Mardis and wife Janice of West Lafayette, Harry Mardis and wife Alisha of Fresno; former son-in-law, Leroy Green of West Lafayette; former husband, John A. Hughes of Newcomerstown. Nancy was preceded in death by three brothers, Wayne, Jimmy, and John; one sister, Shirley. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 am in the Addy Funeral Home at Newcomerstown with Pastor Larry Wonderley officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairfield Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 in the funeral home.
