Orlan W. Harding

Orlan W. Harding Sr., 76, of 60041 County Road 9, Newcomerstown, died Sunday September 7, 2003, at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital. Born November 19, 1926 in Postboy, Ohio, he was the son of the late Harvey A. and Ethel (Brown) Harding. He married Jean (Nay) Harding on September 21, 1952, who survives. A World War II army veteran, he was truck driver for Leslie J. Strawn Trucking Co., Ray Molder Carrier Group and Leaseway Transportation, all of Canton, Before retiring. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Orlan W. Harding Jr. and Jeff Harding, both of Newcomerstown; and one daughter Jackie Harding of Akron. He was proceeded in death by three brothers and one sister. Funeral servives will be at 2 pm Tuesday September 9, 2003 at Addy Funeral Home with the Rev. Chauncey Eggan officiating. Burial will be at West Lawn Cemetery in Newcomerstown. Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 pm Monday September 8 at the funeral home.
