Phebe Deich

Phebe E. Deich, 93, of Hamlet Manor in Chagrin Falls, Ohio and formerly of C.R. 9 West Lafayette, died Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Hamlet Monor. Born Nov. 18, 1911 in Fresno, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Minnie (Hahn) and Oscar Scherer. On June 20, 1936, she married Charles William Deich, who died Aug. 17, 1977. She is survived by one daughter, Norma (Bernard) Shupp of Novelty; two grandsons, Andrew Shupp of Linhurst and Charles (Saeng) Shupp of South Euclid; five great grandchildren, Johnny, Alan, Corey, Kaleigh and Alex; three brothers, Melvin(Irene) Scherer of West Lafayette, Glenn (Margaret) of Baltic and Howard (Mary) of Ruby Ark.; and, one sister, Twila Welling of Coshocton. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry, Oscar Jr. and infant; and three sisters, Gladys, Mary and Velma.
