Quentin Hadley Sergeant, 69 of Newcomerstown, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025 at Truman House.
Quentin was born April 2, 1955, in Newcomerstown to the late Vergil and Sara Jean (Slack) Sergeant. Quentin was a man whose strength of character was as steadfast as his opinions. Known for his unwavering determination and stubborn spirit, Quentin never backed down from a challenge, yet his love for family and friends was immeasurable. His heart was as big as his opinions, and while he may have been difficult at times, his loyalty, generosity, and kindness will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his loving partner, Deanna Fisher of 30 years, his children Andy Sergeant and Chris (Melody) Sergeant; his grandchildren Mia and Karson; his sister Elaine Leickly.
Quentin was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother O. Winston Sergeant.
Per Quentin’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place. A graveside service will be held at Fairfield Cemetery at a later date.
