Richard Elliott

Richard Halton Elliott, 80, of 991 Glengary, Wolverine Lake, Mich., passed away Thursday, April 7, 2005, at his residence. He was born Aug. 10, 1924, in Keene, to the late Russell Lawrence and Emma Katherine ( Whittemore) Elliott. He served in the U.S. Navy from April 29, 1943 until March 4, 1946, and was in WWII. His wife, Winona (Porter) Elliott, died May 14, 2002 Survivors include one son, Daniel Elliott and wife Laura; one daughter, Kathryn Mehrman and husband Michael; five grandchildren, Rebecca Mehrman, Jennifer Fugit and husband Tim, Andy Elliott, Paul Elliott and Toby Fugit; two brothers, William Elliott and wife Joanne, and John Elliott and wife Lorriane. Military Graveside services will be conducted by the Newcomerstown Veterans Honor Guard.
