Robert H. Smalley

Robert H. Smalley, 83 of Kimbolton, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025 at his residence.

Bob was born December 17, 1941, in Rockford, Illinois to the late Harry and Irene (Baker) Smalley. Bob honorably served in the US Army, where he was stationed in Germany and was a combat engineer for two years. He later went on to work as a press operator and retired from Filmco in 1996. Bob faithfully served the Lord at Birmingham Methodist church for about nineteen years, before moving to attend Byesville House of Prayer Fellowship.

He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-eight years Nancy (Wilson) Smalley; his children Brigitte (Andy) George, Diana Stefanchik, and Bobby Smalley; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; his sister Sarah Baniecki; his niece and nephew Rick and Mary Sue Swiger; and his special friends Captain Bob and Esther Hines, John and Judy Hughes, Goyan and Sue Mullins, and Jan and Spencer Reed; along with many other family and close friends.

Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his children Linda Smalley, and Billy Smalley; and his siblings Honie Lee Millbank, Harriet Bolen, Artie Smalley, and Patty Smalley.

A visitation will be held at Addy Funeral Home from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Friday, October 31, 2025. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor David Wiley officiating. Bob will be laid to rest in Clear Fork Cemetery.
