Serafin Sanchez

Serafin Sanchez Sr., 84, of 620 East Main Street West Lafayette, died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005, at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital in Coshocton. He was born Oct. 12, 1921, in Guame, Puerto Rico, to the late Nativadel(Pena)Sanchez and Pedro Sanchez. Serafin retired from Republic Steel of Youngstown, after 33 years of employment. He was married to Pauline(Fanning)Sanchez, who died Feb. 17, 1986. Survivors include, daughter, Jean (Kenroy) Sanchez-Gordon of Cincinnati; son, Serafin (June) Sanchez Jr. of Newcomerstown; three grandchildren, Kenmarie Gordon, Serafin Sanchez III and Jose Danchez Jr.; and two step grandchildren, Michael and Kimberly Berkshire. He was preceded in death by son, Jose Sanchez; one brother; and one sister. Private services will be held at a later date.
