Virginia Marstrell

Virginia Marie Marstrell,88,of 128 Chapman Av., Newcomerstown, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at her home. Born May 30, 1918, in Uhrichsville, Mrs. Marstrell was a daughter of the late Russell and Marie (Salsgiver) Murray. She was a homemaker, a mother, and a member of the Port Washington congregation of Jehovah Witness. Mrs. Marstrell was an avid gardener and enjoyed playing piano, baking and cooking, and loving her family. On September 26, 1937 she married Albert J. "Red" Marstrell, who survives. Also surviving are seven children, David Marstrell of VA, Peggy (Paul) McCrory of Georgia, Gary Marstrell of NY, Barbara (David) Pinski of OH, Jane (Steve) Bliss of Newcomerstown, Susan Wanamaker of Newcomerstown, and Paul (Kathryn) Marstrell of Newcomerstown; twelve grandchildren, Terry Baker, Elizabeth Minamyer, David McCrory, Brian and Zachary Pinski, Elizabeth Moore, Jolinda Kistler, Sara and Stevie Jo Bliss, Benjamin Andrew Wanamaker, and John and Joseph Marstrell; nine great grandchildren, Olivia Minamyer, Kyle Baker, Andrew and Matthew McCrory, Madison, Mackenzie and Molly Kistler, Isaiah and Giavanni Moore; two brothers, Jack and Mike Murray; and a sister, Mauvienne Ward.
